Event Rules: 

#1 - Loading Medley: Yoke, Farmers, Sandbag

On the "Athlete Ready" command, the athlete will place hands on the yoke. On the "Start" command, athletes will lift and carry their yoke 40ft down. Once the yoke crosses the line, the athlete will transition to the farmer's handles, pick them up, and carry them 40ft back. Athletes will then transition to the sandbag, pick it up and carry it down 40ft then place it over the top of the yoke implement. Once the sandbag goes over the yoke and hits the ground, time will stop.

Yoke / Farmers must touch the line before transitioning to the next implement - They cannot be slid across the line, or a penalty will be applied.

Placement is decided by who finishes the event fastest. If the event is not completed, the distance will be measured for placement.

Athletes have 90 seconds to complete the event. All implements will receive unlimited drops, sandbag may be carried or shouldered. Dragging/sliding of the yoke/farmers will result in a 5 second penalty.

Equipment Allowed: Grip Shirts, Wrist Wraps, Gloves, Chalk, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Double Belt

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky of any kind. Straps of any kind.

#2 - Log Press Medley (Trump weight)

Athletes will start at a designated area and may begin once they receive the "Start" command.

 

Athletes will be able to choose from 3 different weight logs. The heavier weight logs will trump the lighter weight logs.

Once the log is lifted the athlete must wait for the head judge to give the "Down" command.

The athlete then has the choice to either go up in weight (to the next log) or continue to add reps to the same log (must clean each rep).

Once an athlete begins to lift a log, they are not allowed to move down to a lighter log.

Placement will be decided by who completes the most reps with the heaviest log within the time limit.

Athletes will have 60 seconds.

Log cannot be rested on head. Must clean and press all reps.

Equipment Allowed: Grip Shirt, Wrist Wraps, Knee Sleeves, Elbow Wraps, Elbows Sleeves,Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Double Belt

Equipment NOT Allowed: no tacky of any kind

#3 - Max Effort Deadlift (4 Attempts)

Athletes will be given a "Start" command. Upon receiving the command, the athlete will have 60 seconds to complete the deadlift.

 

The hips & knees must be locked out with the shoulders back. The athlete must wait for the head judge's "down" command. Once the athlete receives the down command, they must control the weight back down (no dropping the weight).

Athletes will each get 4 attempts. Weight selection will determine the order of athletes.

All athletes must put in their first attempts before the start of the event.

Once an attempt is missed, no more attempts will be granted.

Sumo deadlift not allowed.

Dropping the deadlift will result in a NO LIFT 

Equipment Allowed: Deadlift suit, straps, Figure 8 Straps, Chalk, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Compression Shorts

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky of any kind.

#4 - Truck pull

Athletes will be in a truck pull harness and will have a lead rope. On the "Athlete Ready" command, the athlete will get into a good starting position. On "Start" command athlete will begin truck pull.

Athlete will have 90 seconds to pull the truck 100ft until the front tires cross the finish line. 

Placement will be determined by who crosses the finish line fastest.

If the athlete does not cross the line within the 90 seconds, distance will be taken for placement.

Equipment Allowed: Elbow Sleeves, Soft Belt, Hard Belt, Chalk, Knee Sleeves, Wrist Wraps, Gloves

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tack of any kind

#5 - Atlas Stones (trump weight)

On "Athlete Ready" command, athlete will place wrists on crossbar. On the "Start" command, athletes will attempt to load 1 of 12 stone options. 

 

Athletes will be able to choose from 12 different weight atlas stones. The higher weight stones will trump the lighter weight stones.

Once the stone has been successfully lifted, the athlete has the choice to either go up in weight to the next stone or continue to add reps to the same stone.

Once an athlete begins to lift a stone, they are not allowed to move down to a lighter stone.

Placement will be decided by who completes the most reps with the heaviest atlas stone within the time limit. 

Athletes will have 90 seconds

STRONGMAN CORP. AND Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC , STRONGMAN
CORP. and Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC will take reasonable endeavors to comply
with all applicable obligations of the Health & Safety at Work, Act 1974 and the Management of
Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 (amended 1999) ensuring as far as reasonably
practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all its employees freelance and contracted personnel
and others, including the general public, who come into contact from time to time with any of ,
STRONGMAN CORP. AND  Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC work activities.
The Athlete shall fully co-operate with, STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC’s and not disregard any information, instruction or
training given in the interest of the Athlete’s health and safety in accordance with sections 2 and 3
of the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974
and Regulation 10 & 13 of the Management of
Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Furthermore, the Athlete agrees not to willfully
interfere with or damage any equipment including protective equipment provided in the interest of
health, safety and welfare and the Athlete agrees to strictly comply with all of, STRONGMAN
CORP. AND Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC’s instructions at all times, in
accordance with sections 7 and 8 of the Health & Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974.
In accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Athlete shall take all reasonable
steps to safeguard their own health and safety and that of any person who may be affected by their
activities during participation in events and competitions.
The Athlete shall co-operate with, STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC and their designees or appointees in this regard. The
Athlete shall not participate in any competition or event if not in good health nor fit enough to
participate.
The Athlete shall inspect all equipment used in the competition and confirm that in his opinion it is
safe to use.


INJURIES
The Athlete understands and accepts that events and competitions involving contests of strength
may as with any sporting contest result in injury.
The Athlete hereby waives and indemnifies STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC from any and all
liabilities that may arise or be incurred by STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC through the Athlete’s participation in any event
and/or competition organized or licensed by or for and on the behalf of STRONGMAN CORP.
AND Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC .
The Athlete fully understands and accepts that events and competitions of
Strength athletics involves physical exertion. The Athlete shall not enter nor
continue in any event or competition unless medically and physically fit enough to do so and by
any event or competition the Athlete shall warrant the same and hold, STRONGMAN CORP.
AND Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC , free from any and all liability.
The Athlete warrants that he has read and fully understood the, STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC Health Policy and agrees to comply with the same
and hold, STRONGMAN CORP. AND Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC , free from
any and all liability in respect of, STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC adopting and implementing the same.
The Athlete expressly releases, STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC, and its employees, servants, agents, designees and
appointees from any and all actions, claims, liabilities, loss, costs or expense which may arise
whether directly or indirectly from participation in any, STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC event or competition including but not limited to
injury and the implementation of the, STRONGMAN CORP. AND
Advanced Training and Powerlifting LLC Health Policy.
Therefore I affix my signature below to serve as proof that I have read and fully understand the
